32 weeks, 6 days - Happy Dancing and High Fives All Around, Girls.

I just got out of the bathtub a minute ago (it's about 9 PM) and GUESS WHAT?

I leaked a tiny little droplet of colostrum!

A statement which just caused many of you to make an "ARGH. TMI, Megan!" face. But my long-time Diaryland girls and a few of my friends-in-real-life are smiling. Because they know my struggles with breastfeeding and how huge a boost to my confidence this was.

That is all. I'll update the photo gallery and try to write a longer post tomorrow.

Hello, colostrum, old friend. Good to see you.

YAY!

Megan, Don't know why (well, yes I do, it's these damn pregnancy hormones!), but I got all choked up at your last entry. Definitely not TMI!! I hope and pray that breastfeeding goes good for you, especially since you are having a boy. Don't know why, but those little boys are so sweet at their momma's breast (but I am partial to boys right..since I have the cutest one ever, even if he isn't breastfeeding anymore). By the way, if you think there might be any chance with supply, stock up on some Fenugreek tea. It will help with supply more than you can imagine and it will be good to have it on hand when teh abby gets home, plus ask around about Lactation consultants at your ped's office. Get your tool bag ready, girl!! Heather

Good for you!! You're getting so close now. The latest pics in the belly gallery look so cute. Your belly is getting so round (in a very cute not big or gross kind of way). No stretch marks either?? You're right. Good heredity!!

Yeah! As a soon-to-be momma of 4, who also had MUCHO difficulty nursing #1, the milk POURED in with #2 and #3. And I got pregnant with #4 while still nursing #3, and the milk still seeps out every now and then, even though he's now weaned.

And I'm with Rambling On...fenugreek is AWESOME, but there is an even stronger method - called Domperidone. I took it to increase my supply, got it up to where it needed to be, then gradually weaned off it and went on to nurse #1 for a full 12 months! Feel free to email me if you'd like more info! :)

Congrats on the milestone!

Hey...colostrum is a GOOD thing. :) Congratulations on this momentous occasion - especially if you've had trouble in the past - this is a VERY good sign!

Congrats! I can only imagine how exciting that must be, after having issues with breastfeeding. Good luck.
