10 weeks, 4 days - I forgot to say!

I keep meaning to say here that over the past weekend, I think I have begun to feel the flutters of this Peanut. I know many "experts" would say it's too early/I'm not feeling what I think I'm feeling, BUT, I've felt this before and wouldn't you say it's a pretty much unmistakeable feeling? Like nothing you've ever felt before?

So I remain convinced, despite the opinions of "experts."

I felt both Riley and Aislyn move really early (before 13 weeks). I was afraid to tell anyone because people always make faces if you say anything that doesn't fall within the "normal" range or whatever. But I believe you! :)

I felt my second move way sooner than my first. You know what to expect so it's easier to recognize it.

I have to say I am living vicariously through you right now. I wish I could have another baby but it's not in the cards for me. So, I get to enjoy reading about it!

I hope you continue to feel better!

How exciting. I have often heard that you feel movements way earlier on subsequent pregnancies because you know what it is you are feeling. I can't wait until I can feel my wee baby move!

Oh, I'm jealous! The flutters are one of those things I never got to experience while pregnant. Most of my abdomen is missing nerve endings and I couldn't feel Princess moving around in there unless she managed to kick or punch one of my major organs.

I was well into my second trimester before I could detect her movements and spent the second half of my pregnancy with one hand sitting on my belly.

Enjoy that feeling!!
